eBay lover

If you receive an email which ask you to reply or click on a link to response, please check whether it actually goes to the link. DON'T CLICK THE LINK! Just hover your mouse over it and windows will show the link address. Most of the time use your common sense.

Example:
I recently received an email from 'ebay.com' supposedly with question from potential buyer. At the RESPOND NOW button/link, the link did not go to eBay, instead it went to  http://signin.mybesthost.com/index.txt. The same was when I hovered my mouse over the word http://www.ebay.com

If you accidentally click on these link http://signin.mybesthost.com/index.txt, it will show you the sign-in page for ebay. DO NOT SIGN-IN!! If you check at the address bar it is NOT the genuine ebay sign-in page. Instead the address is http:/203.215.183.199/signin.ebay.com. Ebay secure signin page starts with https://signin.ebay.com/ followed by some codes. Note the 's' after http denotes secure connection and there is a padlock icon at the bottom right of your Internet Explorer.

Conclusion: Before sign-in your ID and password, always check for the https and padlock icon.

Moral of the story....... toksah beli kat eBay.... belilah kat car-boot sale, always free postage  ...... next car boot bila hah????
