The Lancaster University societies of Friends of Palestine, Islamic and Malaysian, are working together to host the second annual charity dinner organised in support of the Palestine children and medical care charities(Medical Aid for Palestinians and Palestine Children's Relief Fund).The event offers an open buffet, catered by Sanah's Eastern Cuisine and Mama Mia's. There will be a chance to view pictures of Palestine, the country, the people and the culture, as well as a picture time line of all major events in Palestin'es recent history. Video's will be shown of the children and landscapes, and there will a Palestinian Dabke demonstration.
Held at the Great Hall,on the 20th February 2006 beginning at 5.00pm. Tickets sold at £6.50 for adults and £4 for children 12 (under 5 free).
We hope you will support us in this venture, by joining us in an evening for Palestine, by selling tickets, put up posters, man a ticket stall (Wk.4 & 5 Alexandra Square) collecting/making donations to the charities, and promoting the event to friends, colleages and family.
