I personally think that every Malaysian should try to read some of Noam Chomsky's work. Chomsky is one of the great thinkers of our time and a major dissenting voice against American and the West's policy in Asia. He is known to linguistic students for his theory on 'universal grammar', but I am more interested in his philosophical and political view of the world. He is also a close friend of the late Edward Said, whose work introduced a new theoretical perspective on Colonial discourse - hence post-colonial discourse, and a strong advocate of the Palestinian. You can find a lot of information about Chomsky in the net.

  I have created (wow!) a yahoo group called DOAchain4usall as a way of uniting all Muslims through doa. So, i would like to cordially invite all muslims to join this group. There are a few interesting links there too, linked by a member from America. And pls tell your friends all over the world about this. The more members we have the more united we can be through doa.
