The first Malaysian that we met upon our arrival in Lancaster was K Faridah. She waited for us to give our house keys. After settling in, she drove me to the nearest SPAR at Greaves Road. At night she invited all the newcomers to eat dinner at her flat. Although it happened two years ago, that moment is still fresh in our memory.
kami sekeluarga mengucapkan tahniah kepada K Faridah dan Abang Jasni (kesian...org lupa kat abg jasni...). Kejayaan K Faridah menambahkan lagi azam dan cita-cita kami yang masih kena tinggal kat Lancaster ni. K Faridah telah membuktikan yang kaum isteri dan ibu boleh capai kejayaan....

when i first came to lancaster she was among the earliest figure that i met..well not really a proper met on that first day. she had a short chat with our PNB boss before she left us. i didnt even had the opportunity to shoot a word to her on that day..perhaps she was busy or on the middle of something at the time.
anyway, it wont take me long to know who she is, one of the most respectable figure in the community. it doesnt take much effort to realise her presence in any event, thanks to her high frequency voice..(hehe..ampun kak faridah;)
now comes the time she'll be saying goodbye to the community..i bet this is the hardest part!i would like to congratulate kak faridah for the 'Dr' title. on the outset, it may seems nothing more than just a title, but it does actually reflect her hardwork, determination and above all the strike of balance among various responsibilities of being a wife, a mom and a student at the same time. again well done kak faridah!! and personally, thanks for everything that you've done and sorry for any misconduct and the naughty part of mine..hehe~
my last words...selamat pulang ke tanah air & selamat menjalankan tugas dgn jayanya!..
