THREE MALAYSIAN EDUCATION JOURNALISTS FROM THE NEW STRAITS TIMES, THE STAR AND NANYANG SIANG PAU (a Chinese Language paper) visited the University this week to learn more about the proposed link between Lancaster and Sunway University College. They were accompanied by the Acting Vice Chancellor of Sunway and members of the Sunway University College marketing team who have been meeting with key staff at Lancaster, in preparation for the launch of the Sunway/Lancaster partnership in 2007.
A UNIVERSITY DELEGATION, INCLUDING ONE OF THE UNIVERSITY'S FOUNDERS , LORD TAYLOR OF BLACKBURN, will fly to Malaysia on the 18th September to formally sign an agreement with Sunway University College , Kuala Lumpur. Lancaster and Sunway will offer joint degrees in business studies, psychology and hospitality management, with more subjects to be added in the next few years. Students will study at Sunway, but will be awarded a degree from both institutions.
